1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Farm Haven, Inc. website or corporate portal, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable New York State and federal laws. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you may not access this platform.
2. Corporate Status & Solicitations
Farm Haven, Inc. is a New York domestic not-for-profit corporation incorporated under § 402 of the Not-for-Profit Corporation Law on September 3, 2026. The Corporation is currently completing organizational steps and will submit for federal 501(c)(3) recognition and New York State Charities Bureau registration (Form CHAR410). Pursuant to New York Executive Law Article 7-A, the Corporation does not currently solicit or accept charitable contributions online.
3. Farmers Market Vendors
Submitting a vendor application does not constitute a guaranteed stall allocation or contract. All vendors participating in the Sunday Farmers Market must maintain valid compliance credentials, including Commercial General Liability Insurance ($1,000,000 minimum) naming Farm Haven, Inc. as an additional insured, required NYS Department of Agriculture and Markets permits (e.g. 20-C), and Albany County Health Department food handler credentials.
4. Portal & Fiduciary Governance Security
Access to the Board Governance Portal is restricted strictly to active directors and authorized corporate officers. Unauthorized access, automated scraping, credential sharing, or attempts to execute documents without legal authority are strictly prohibited under federal and state computer fraud statutes and NY N-PCL § 708.
5. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any legal proceeding arising out of or relating to these terms shall be brought exclusively in state courts situated in Albany County, New York.
